Wine Country Horse Riding

Enjoy the spectacular Hunter Valley Wine Country from the truly unique

perspective upon your gentle natured and well cared for horse, admiring views of the breathtaking Brokenback Range, surrounding vineyards and bushland.

To ensure professional attention at all times, our rides are restricted to 6 riders 
per riding instructor. 
At Wine country Horse Rides we care for your comfort and select 
the most suitable horse to suit your physique and riding ability. 
We offer one hour horse riding sessions and a safety induction and basic tuition. 
We cater for the whole spectrum, from the experienced rider 
right through to the timid beginner. 
All riding equipment is included.

Our ride times are 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm daily 
with the early morning and afternoon rides 
proving to have a high chance of encountering local wildlife.

(Daylight savings times 8am, 10am, 3pm and 5pm).

For the little ones we offer 20 minute lead pony rides - our ponies are always 
a favourite with the kids! Ride times are by appointment.

Wine Country horse riding can also provide pony rides for your next 
child’s party, fun day, fete, or function.

All rides must be booked. Ride times are often flexible.  

For the more experienced rider we offer a full day ride which includes:

Wine tastings at up to four of the Hunter Valleys small boutique cellar doors
- A restaurant meal at Salsa Restaurant located at James Estate or perhaps a picnic lunch amongst the vines
- Transfers from Hunter Resort to our departing point and return can be organized.
- Pick up of any wine purchased and delivery back to Hunter Resort
- And the experience of seeing the beautiful Hunter Valley Wine Country 
from a perspective not fully appreciated from any other mode of transport.
